As we are all now aware, global warming is a matter of fact and growing daily. Part of that pressure is to cut down on our carbon emissions through the use of Alternative Energy sources such as wind and solar power. So when we were approached by Narec to supply and erect the steelwork and winch frames to a test rig for testing wind farm blades we were delighted to be involved. This landmark development is unique to Europe and will ultimately contribute greatly to the local economy in Blyth and the future of renewable energy.

Following on from our involvement with Narec we are now working closely with a worldwide supplier of photoelectric cells, which converts sunlight into electricity. This system has now provided clean cheap electricity on an industrial size. As a company we will endeavour to reduce carbon emissions in the future thus assisting our environmental responsibilities and “Green Credentials”.
