Exemplary Employees
An exemplary employee was discovered during an Autocad course. Chris, a 17 year old apprentice demonstrated such an aptitude for mathematics and Autocad that he is now on track as trainee apprentice Autocad draftsman.
Steve, another excellent employee who had left the fishing industry to be employed as a labourer. Following an adult craft apprenticeship scheme (ACE), and a period of continual assessment, Steve produced a portfolio of work achieving NVQ level 3. As a result Steve was promoted to being a chargehand.
